With a storied history of work in print, broadcast, public relations, and digital media, Leslie D. Rose knows media through and through. She has launched several lucrative media and marketing campaigns to help artists or business owners reintroduce themselves to area markets and remain relevant through her most popular offerings of guided brainstorming, biography writing, and photography. Outside of CreActiv, Leslie works as a freelance culture and advocacy journalist and on-air personality. This aspect of her career greatly benefits her consulting work in the areas of panel moderation, hosting, various writing services, and media training opportunities. She has had the honor of serving as the project manager for her alma mater's alumni magazine, consulting grassroots groups through community projects, and curating media for rising artists of various genres. Leslie has national awards in marketing for integrated campaigns and special videos, as well as writing and editing awards in journalism. She holds a B.A. in mass communication and creative writing from Xavier University of Louisiana.

Donney Rose is a performance poet, advocacy journalist, and teaching artist. His work, which spans two decades on stages and in classrooms, guides others in their creative journeys and brings nuanced and colorful perspectives through the medium of spoken word and other creative outlets. As a cultural critic, he seeks to examine the nuances of Blackness via arts, entertainment, politics, and social justice advocacy. He spent more than two years as an advocacy journalist leading editorial for a national digital media platform where he worked to amplify the narratives of Black and other marginalized people whose stories often go untold or misrepresented. Donney is a past Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellow, a former Baton Rouge Business Report Forty Under 40 honoree, and a recipient of the 2022 Maryland State Arts Council Independent Artist Award for Literary Arts, among countless other noteworthy accomplishments in arts and community organizing. He holds a B.S. in marketing from Southern University and A&M College. 



IMPORTANT SERVICE INFORMATION 


Services can be provided as single-time purchases or by contract. For consulting services, assessments are $75/flat and full public relations consultations are $250/flat (add $50-$100 for marketing). You may also schedule a $75 "Pick-Your-Brain" session that will allot 30 minutes for you to ask questions and receive guidance on a topic of your choosing. 


**An assessment is for the purpose of discussing items needed to do a job and is likely done via phone call, lasting about 30 minutes. Popular assessment topics include writing and photo marketing services. In some cases, your assessment fee may be waived or extracted from your additional purchase. || A consultation is an in-person or teleconference meeting lasting no more than 1.5 hours for which the client will receive professional advice and a follow-up list of recommendations. Additional services may be recommended and are offered at additional costs.
